We are proud to support our neighbour’s here at Bower Hill by providing the Marist College soccer teams with two sets of jerseys home and away.
The Marist college which Is a 2-minute walk from the bower hill development, is a well-known all boys secondary school which first opened in 1884. The Marist college is known for itsmajor success insports including rugby, soccer,and Gaelic football.
The school’s soccer teams have been very successful in their games this year resulting in thefirst-yearsoccer team winningthe prestigious Leinster cup. Over 90 schools participated in the competition and the Marist College came out on top in the final with a 1-0victory over the Patrician College from Newbridge. There is an All-Ireland series to take place in the next school year, with their semi-final opponents yet to be confirmed.
